This is my 2nd one. Bought first for my toddler since it’s dark out when he’s picked up from daycare and doesn’t like when it’s dark in the car. He likes to hug and kiss it lol. The 2nd light is for my 8 month old, who obviously can’t turn it on/off on his own yet. The only downside is the light may turn off if you drive over a big bump.

It works if you don¡¯t touch it. Once you pick it up the lighting switches with the lightest touch of this thing compared to other you have to actually tap it but this one just picking up to move it like my kid who would take it with him to the bathroom in the middle of the night so he was can see his way it will easily turn off if you¡¯re not careful. Works great if you¡¯re just sitting it on a table and not touching or holding it. The light is very nice though. I can appreciate it but if you¡¯re kid likes to use it to travel through the house to use the restroom and find their way back and not trip over anything when it¡¯s lights out time then you¡¯ll need something more durable like the ones with the remotes or even the dinosaur one at Walmart. That one you have to actually tap its head and has different colors just FYI
